Today we start off with rates cooling down a bit. If you remember from my last post Hawaii Mortgage Rates – 1/19/09 On the Move!, then you’ll recall that rates had taken a slight jump up into the 5′s.
On my end of things, I see rate sheets being updated constantly throughout the day which are known as ‘price changes’ in the Hawaii mortgage industry. When I see a lot of price changes arriving at my inbox, then I know something is up – especially when the price changes are for the worst.The 19th was one of those days.
Today, Hawaii mortgage rates have gone back down a bit back into the 4′s which offer many first time home buyers and those looking to refinance a great chance to snag rock-bottom rates before they do go back up.
